Vanguard
While working as a Creative Director & Developer at Rice Warner, I was asked to design and build a full functioning web-based application for Vanguard. The goal of the project was to help improve the way in which share fund information is delivered to prospective buyers. Currently this is done using very large physical documents, or PDFs so long you could never possibly find the important information. My proposal was the strip the important information out of the documents and bring it to the front. Provide the investor with the most important information, but also allow them to dig much deeper if they desired. I also introducted a quiz to help with gamification and help prove that the investor was well informed which is a legal requirement. I created prototypes and mockups using Photoshop, then used Bootstrap to build out the web app.
